The company started its foundation in Tucson, Arizona, 25 years ago, through referral and word of mouth. As the Internet became a popular tool for communication, College Consultants of the Gulf Coast partnered with Circle of Neighbors to facilitate and advocate their services to other states across the Gulf Coast. The average cost for a 4-year degree is $50,000. Most people will utilize financial aid and loans to cover this cost. As we all know, student loans do not go away, and eventually have to be paid back after you complete your degree. Our company's overall objective is to help qualified students obtain endowment based awards, which is money that does not have to be paid back. These funds are not publicly announced, but with the assistance of our experienced endowment specialist, these funds can be accessible. We hope to complete our mission to help our members drastically reduce or possibly eliminate the use of student loans.Endowment FundsWe are not your typical scholarship search company; we help families to receive endowment funds. Endowment funds are donations colleges and universities receive to fund such things as scholarships, fellowships, faculty hiring, research, and building projects. These funds come directly from the college, and cover school related items such as: tuition, books, room & board, or even meal plans. This meeting helps us to determine if the student qualifies based on Talent and Merit (GPA, Extracurricular Activities, and Community Service Involvement) for endowment funds. This will be a 60-minute consultation in person with the student and the parents present.The consultant will make an assessment based on the information you have provided in your consultation if you will be eligible for our program.The consultant will then inform you of eligibility and our program.What Makes Us So Different?What we focus on is different from any other college consultant, college coach, or planner in Georgia. Not only do we provide you all the services you would receive from a college coach, but our college coaches work hard to get you endowment funds (free money) from the many colleges that would pay you to come to there institution. We focus on helping families to receive these funds, that otherwise you would not gain access to. This in turn, will complete our mission of reducing or possibly eliminating the use of student loans for each individual we devote our time to.The Next StepAt the end of the meeting, if the student qualifies, the family is invited to accept or decline our services.
