College Consultants of the Gulf Coast is a division of Circle of Neighbors, a non-profit organization that has assisted over 30,000 qualified individuals to obtain college funding. The company started its foundation in Tucson, Arizona, 25 years ago, through referral and word of mouth. As the Internet became a popular tool for communication, College Consultants of the Gulf Coast partnered with Circle of Neighbors to facilitate and advocate their services to other states across the Gulf Coast.
The average cost for a 4-year degree is $50,000. Most people will utilize financial aid and loans to cover this cost. As we all know, student loans do not go away, and eventually have to be paid back after you complete your degree. Our company's overall objective is to help qualified students obtain endowment based awards, which is money that does not have to be paid back. These funds are not publicly announced, but with the assistance of our experienced endowment specialist, these funds can be accessible. We hope to complete our mission to help our members drastically reduce or possibly eliminate the use of student loans.
We are not your typical scholarship search company; we help families to receive endowment funds. Endowment funds are donations colleges and universities receive to fund such things as scholarships, fellowships, faculty hiring, research, and building projects. These funds come directly from the college, and cover school related items such as: tuition, books, room & board, or even meal plans. Endowment awards do not have to be paid back.
High School
Many Schools are looking for students with a particular talent or area of interest. There are hundreds of colleges and universities that would offer you endowment awards based on your GPA and test scores. Merit scholarships are not based on household income or assets.
College
According to the College Board, a 4 year public college degree now costs approximately $50,000.
A 4 year private college degree will now cost approximately $130,000.

THE COLLEGE ADMISSIONS PROCESS HAS BECOME INCREASINGLY MORE INTRICATE AND COMPETIVE
Factors Driving the Increasing Competiveness In the Admissions Process Include:
"We received over $19,000 with the help of Circle of Neighbors. We had been told we make too much money to qualify for help... Not So."

WE ASSIST YOU IN THE ADMISSIONS PROCESS AND HELP TO REDUCE OUT OF POCKET COST FOR FAMILIES
Next to purchasing a home, a college education will probably be the most expensive thing an average family will have to finance. But there is hope. In 2010 there will be somewhere between 40 to 60 billion dollars in financial aid available. It's hard to believe, but the colleges themselves will control about 95% of the funding. How much of that do you qualify for?
"With my older son Jason, who was already in college, I had to borrow from my 401K to pay in-state college costs. Since we joined the program, we got Katie into the private school she wanted, and got money for Jason we should have received in the first place. As a single parent, I really appreciated the time the consultants spent with me and the efforts of the Circle of Neighbors staff."

Our consultants assist college bound individuals to receive a minimum of $20,000 in endowment funds (money that does not have to be paid back). A typical day for our consultants is to spend about 1 hr with families to get to know more about the college bound individuals Talent and Merit. Qualifying for endowment funds is based on GPA (2.7 and above), extracurricular activities (sports, dance, drama, music etc...), and community service involvement. We are not a Needs Based program, so eligibility for endowment funds is not based on your income.

What we focus on is different from any other college consultant, college coach, or planner in Georgia. Not only do we provide you all the services you would receive from a college coach, but our college coaches work hard to get you endowment funds (free money) from the many colleges that would pay you to come to there institution. We focus on helping families to receive these funds, that otherwise you would not gain access to. This in turn, will complete our mission of reducing or possibly eliminating the use of student loans for each individual we devote our time to.
